Having a good writing day today. Chipping away at various projects. Earthman Jack is still being difficult. I keep having to go back to my outline and try to rejigger it. I'm trying to go where inspiration takes me, which probably isn't the best way to work, but I'm at least getting words on pages. Feels good, even if it irks me that progress on the next EJ book is still slow.
I'm getting ready to finalize the SINFUL audiobook version, though. Will be uploading that toward the end of the month. Rook & Berenger STILL isn't available on Audible, which is ridiculous. It's been "in review" for over 8 months now.
The next book up for release is an original of mine called Trial By Combat. It takes place in a theocratic society where court cases can be decided by UFC-style combat, and murder cases are tried through fights to the death. It follows a washed-up fighter as he tries to reclaim his honor by overcoming impossible odds to right a past wrong. It's not like my usual fare, but for whatever reason, I was inspired to write it. It's probably going to just be a stand-alone tale, but if people like it enough I'll see about continuing it.
